On the occasion of Research and Technology Week, a series of meetings were held at the Persian Gulf University with the aim of reviewing the indicators, programs and goals of research and technology of colleges and research institutes.

In these meetings, the top researchers of these colleges and research institutes were praised. The top researchers of the School of Engineering were selected as follows:

• Prof. Parviz Malekzadeh, inclusion in the list of one percent of the world's most cited researchers in 2020
• Mr. Vahid Shokoohifard, a top research student in the PhD degree
• Mr. Abdolmehdi Behroozi, a top research student in master's degree
• Dr. Yaser Amini, the presence of his article in the list of highly cited articles in 2020
• Dr. Ehsan Izadpanah, the presence of his article in the list of highly cited articles in 2020
